Every week, Club Penguin updates their newspaper, Club Penguin Times, with news that's coming up or that is happening now in Club Penguin. This week is the new party that came to the website called, "Marvel Superhero Takeover." In this issue it talks about the party in the main selection of the newspaper on the front page. The main selection was submitted by the Club Penguin Times writer, Aunt Arctic and she is alerting every penguins that super villains are trying to take over the island and that the island needs super heroes to defeat the pesky villains and forClub Penguin to reign supreme once again.
The Club Penguin Team even made a design to the party, when you log in you have a choice to become a Super Hero, Super Villain, or a Citizen. They even created a Super Hero & Super Villain headquarters! Just go to the Town and there is a green tube and a blue tube, the blue tube is the Super Hero headquarters and the green tube is the Super Villains headquarters. You can suit up as a Super Hero, Super Villain, or Citizen at the Gift Shop, you even get to dress as your favorite Super Hero or Super Villain! (Such as, Iron Man, Spider Man, Hulk, Captain America, Loki, ect.) If you choose to be a citizen, you can volunteer as a cop and dress up at the Gift Shop, as well!
Club Penguin created a police department for all cops to check in and stop crime happening around Island at the party. From the selection Aunt Arctic submitted there has been a lot of catastrophes so that's why they developed a police headquarters. So far lots of cops been putting criminals in their cells so it's helped the island quite a bit.
Last but not least, we have our Upcoming Events in the newspaper as our last selection on the first page. If you cannot see the upcoming events, bigger print is below the picture below.
